Discovering Water On The Moon
In 2009 astronomers in both India and the United States discovered water in the soil (regolith) of the Moon. With the knowledge of lunar water sources, future missions will need to transport less resources.

This film discusses the LCROSS probe that was intentionally crashed into the moon and concepts for colonization attempts.
