The Aquarius/SAC-D spacecraft is a collaborative effort between NASA and Argentina's space agency. This Earth orbiter will measure the changes in the salt levels of the world's oceans.

Additional Information:
On June 10th 2011 this satellite successfully launched. Aquarius' observations will help uncover how salinity variations influence ocean circulation and help trace the flow of freshwater around the Earth.
