This stinkhorn mushroom (phallus indusiatus) is known for its lacy skirt. Though bizarre looking, this mushroom is actually edible and has been collected in Asia, the Americas, and Africa.

There are many mushrooms, most of which are toxic. When collecting these fungi make sure they are properly identified prior to consuming them.
