Ancylometes is a genus of spider that is known for its ability to dive and spend up to an hour underwater. Young Ancylometes can walk on water, but even adults hunt beneath the surface. It is one of only two known spider genus that can spin webs in water, and while they do sometimes catch fish, all food is consumed on land or above the water.
